Adventris Playtest Guide
Rules
Concept
Simultaneously controlling a 2D character and controlling falling Tetris blocks
Goal
Collect all the keys and make your way to the door.
Controls
A = move block left
D = move block right
S = move block down
Q = rotate block left
E = rotate block right
← = move player left
→ = move player right
↑ = jump
If on mobile, use upright orientation and the provided buttons.
Coins
While there is nothing to purchase in the playtest version, collecting coins can make the level more difficult and interesting. In addition to the coins you collect, you get two bonus coins for each unused block and block that hasn’t hit the ground.
Frozen Blocks
Some blocks are blacked out. These are blocks that will not get destroyed by row creation and will not fall when a lower row is destroyed. They also hold up any block above them.
Obstacles
Avoid hitting spikes and lasers. Pretty self explanatory.
Next up Display
The left hand panel will show you which blocks you have to finish the level.
Missing Features
There are some intended features that ore not present in the alpha version. These include 36 more levels, a shop where you can buy hats, and a built in rulebook.
